Our Legacy
The story of EVA
Over 20 years ago, a small group of passionate locals came together as a Section 86 Committee of Cardinia Shire Council. Their goal was to advocate for the wellbeing, beauty, and resilience of Emerald.
In 2018, the group officially became Emerald Village Association Inc., an independent, community-led organisation. EVA has since continued to evolve, representing the voice of the Emerald community and building partnerships to create a stronger, more connected township.
Today, EVA remains a key voice in Emerald’s development — influencing local projects, amplifying community needs, and playing our own part in resilience planning and collaboration in resilience planning and collaboration.
